A Career Built Around Education, Leadership and Service
For more than three decades, Dr. Tom Kelchner has built his career around a simple belief: knowledge becomes more powerful when it is shared.
Tom spent 33 years in public education, serving in roles ranging from teacher and assistant principal to dean, principal, director, and executive leadership. Along the way, he worked with students, families, educators, administrators, school boards, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders.
After retiring from public education and entering the educational business sector, Tom recognized a recurring problem. Extraordinary professionals, innovative companies, valuable programs, and organizations doing meaningful work already existed—but the people who needed them often didn't know where to find them.
That realization became the foundation for Empowered Network.
